The iPhone 17 family is the most fragmented Apple has sold: the standard 17, the ultra-thin iPhone Air, the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, and the budget 17e that followed in March 2026. Every one of them is a different shape, and no case fits two of them.
That makes the size selector on an Amazon listing the most important thing on the page. The 17 and the 17 Pro are both 6.3 inches and still need different cases, because the Pro's full-width camera plateau sits in a different place.
The 17e is the one to watch: unlike the 16e it has MagSafe magnets, so magnetic wallets, mounts and chargers work without a magnetic case.
